Privacy Policy — Snow Social

This privacy policy covers rSquaredApps’ treatment of personally identifiable information (“personal information”) and other data that Snow Social gathers when you are accessing Snow Social’s service. The service is not available to individuals who are younger than 13 years old.

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DOES SNOW SOCIAL COLLECT?

• Personal information you provide to us: We receive and store any information you enter on our service or provide to us in any other way. The types of personal information collected may include your name, email address, phone number, and use information regarding your use of our service. We automatically receive your location when you use the service unless you disable that feature in “Settings”. The personal information you provide is used for such purposes as allowing you to set up a user account and profile that can be used to interact with other users through the service, improving the content of the service, and communicating with you about specials and new features. We may also draw upon this personal information in order to adapt the services of our community to your needs, to research the effectiveness of our network and services, and to develop new tools for the community.

• Information collected automatically: When you use our service, Snow Social automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser or mobile platform, including your location, IP address, cookie information, and the page you requested. We treat this data as non-personal information, except where we are required to do otherwise under applicable law. rSquaredApps only uses this data in aggregate form. We may provide aggregate information to our partners about how our users, collectively, use our site, so that our partners may also understand how often people use their services and our service. rSquaredApps reserve's the right to anonymously track and report a user's in app activity when requested by legal or emergency services.

• Personal location: Your current personal location will be shared with other Snow Social users who are "Friends" with. This feature can be disabled in the “Settings” tab

How is my information shared?

rSquaredApps may share your personal information only as described below.

• Friends: Unless you have disabled location sharing in the "Settings" tab, your friends can see your location and time of that location data if it is not more than 60 seconds old, the screen name you provided, and your email inside the group chat. We therefore urge you to think carefully about including any specific information you may deem private in our service.

• We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.

Changes to this privacy policy

rSquaredApps has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

IS PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT ME SECURE?

Your Snow Social account personal information is protected by a password for your privacy and security. You need to prevent unauthorized access to your account and personal information by selecting and protecting your password appropriately, and limiting access to your computer and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account.

rSquaredApps endeavors to safeguard user information to ensure that user account information is kept private. However, rSquaredApps cannot guarantee the security of user account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time.

The service may contain links to other sites, rSquaredApps is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other sites. This privacy policy only governs information collected on rSquaredApps. That being said all data stored outside of your device is done so on Google and Apple servers and we periodically delete all location, stats, and chat data.

INTERNATIONAL USERS

If you are located outside of the United States, please note that this site is hosted by Apple and Google. Therefore, your information may be processed and stored in the United States. As a result, United States federal and state governments, courts, or law enforcement or regulatory agencies may be able to obtain disclosure of your information through laws applicable in the United States. Your use of Snow Social or the site or your submission of any personal information to us will constitute your consent to the transfer of your personal information outside of your home country, including the United States, which may provide for different data protection rules than in your country.

HOW IS INFORMATION REMOVED FROM MY ACCOUNT?

Even after you remove information from your account or profile, copies of that information may remain viewable elsewhere, to the extent it has been shared with others, it was otherwise distributed pursuant to your privacy settings, or it was copied or stored by other users. Removed and deleted information may remain on backup media for up to ninety (90) days prior to being deleted from our servers.
